Improvisers and Adventurers Wanted! (We're Holding Auditions)

We are preparing to set off on the second campaign of our fun-filled improvised comedy show Winging It! We again put out the call for all types of performers interested in a live, improvisational fantasy performance in Calgary.

Winging It! is a cross between a tabletop roleplaying actual play and an improv games night like Whose Line Is It Anyway? Mixing short form and long form improv with a fantasy RPG à la Dungeons & Dragons, this show is a recipe for critical tales and epic fails. Roll the dice! Expect laughter and adventure! Let’s have some fun!

We’re seeking a diverse cast to fill out our ensemble of players and heroes. Ideal performers have acting experience, are strong improvisers, and are well-versed in tabletop RPG systems. (Two out of three is great too if you’re cool with picking up new things quickly!)

Rehearsals will be on evenings and weekends starting mid-August with bi-weekly performances beginning the middle of September and finishing the middle of December.

This is a paid contract for performers, with rates comparable to CAEA indie theatre rates. Union members are welcome to apply.

Auditions will take place Monday, August 4th from 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm. Deadline to submit is July 31st at 5:00 pm MDT.
